چکیده

Based on the discovery of surge absorption capability supercapacitors, a transient protector named supercapacitor-assisted absorber (SCASA) was designed and implemented in commercial device. Despite its simplicity, circuit topology consisted coupled inductor wound around specially selected magnetic core. This paper elucidates design aspects SCASA coupled-inductor topologies with special focus action core windings during propagation. The non-ideal operation transformer studied based semi-empirical approach predictions made by using magnetizing leakage permeances. toroidal flux distribution through also determined for 6 kV/3 kA combinational surge, these findings were validated lightning simulator. In predicting possible effects saturation, hysteresis properties different powdered-iron ferrite types considered to select optimal absorption. test results presented this research revealed that X-Flux toroid air-gapped EER yielded exceptional performance ∼10% ∼20% lower load–voltage clamping compared existing Kool μu design. These prototypes further demonstrated remarkable endurance, withstanding over 250 consecutive transients. covers details three-winding optimizations LTSpice simulations under IEC 61000/IEEE C62.45 standard conditions.

Design and Simulation of Voltage Booster Circuit Using Coupled Inductor

In this paper, a high voltage gain of DC-DC converter with design and simulation are proposed using coupledinductor. The proposed converter duty ratio is 0.65, so appropriate duty ratio is considering for this design of the converter. Due do more number of switches are considers for the converter circuit will make more switching power losses but in this converter using only two switches and hav...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Different aspects of transient ischemic dilation

Transient ischemic left ventricular dilation (TID) is a marker of severe and extensive coronary artery disease as well as an increased risk of adverse outcomes. The patients with more severe and extensive ischemia, multivessel-type of perfusion abnormality as well as patients with left anterior descending artery (LAD) territory perfusion abnormality have more probab...

Automatic Tuning of Coupled Inductor Filters

A coupled inductor filter is presented with interesting notch mode filtering characteristics. Although this configuration has been long established, it has received little attention recently. The new contribution of this paper is to provide an automatic tuning process that can make use of the frequency domain characteristics of the coupled inductor building block. In a sense, this becomes an “a...

New Coupled-Inductor Based Multilevel Inverter with Extension Capability

Multilevel inverters have been developed due to limitations of the conventional two-level voltage source inverters (VSIs). Most of the topologies of multilevel inverters that have been presented in the literature are based on the sharing of the rated voltage between the switches so that the switches with lower voltage ratings can be used. In these topologies, the current rating of all of the sw...
